- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My wife has hidradenitis suppurativa and had 18 surgeries in 2 1/2 years before we came to see Dr. Black. Dr. Black has such an incredible bed-side manner and really expresses empathy for her patients. She also makes sure that she gives us her undivided attention until all of our questions are answered, whether that be 5 minutes or 30 minutes. My wife has 8 doctors and Dr. Black is the only one that makes her actually feel better. She's also the first doctor that wants to focus on prevention instead of reaction. My only complaint is that she's a hour away and a couple times the entire appointment could've happened over the phone or even an email.
