  I would not recommend Dr. Susan Streeter for any kind of vetting and certainly no surgery of any kind. Her follow up and lack of concern about animals is the worse I have ever experienced. She basically killed this poor rescue dog, basically because she could not be bothered to actually take the time to call us back or even follow up. This 185# mastiff was the sweetest dog I have had the pleasure of fostering after not only one but two surgeries by Dr. Streeter. The first surgery he ended up with pneumonia less than a week after his TPLO surgery. Then 6 weeks into his rehab she did a bone graph on the same leg and we ended up in the ER for the weekend because of 104.6 temp and severe infection in his leg. She never made one phone call to check on him once he left her facility. I had to call several times and played phone tag with her staff trying to get information regarding his drain tube coming out of his leg. I have never in my life seen such a neglectful Doctor or Staff when it comes to treatment and follow up. In the end this sweet guy ended up crawling and could not longer get up and was euthanized. (WHATEVER YOU DO PLEASE DO NOT USE HER FOR SURGERY) I don't know what happened but she does not seem to care about the animals under her care. I was the foster of Gino after he had both surgeries and Jessica is my daughter and she took Gino to and from the office because I was not able to load or unload him. I did talk to your staff and they supposedly messaged you regarding his drain tube and you were again contacted when I had to take him to the ER after his bone graph. Most of time I must say I was not able to get in touch with anyone with your office or had to call the vets number you left for in case of emergency. I still stand by every word I have written regarding the lack of care he received. Also, I have several text back and forth with one of your state regarding Gino with pictures attached. One other point is" that you had our personal vet do most of his aftercare and that should have been done at your expense. We had to pay him for your aftercare which included x-rays, urinalysis, fluid being drained from his leg, then you blamed his complications on the other vet even though we were directed by her office to go to him." So, with all of this said and confirmed by many you cost our rescue and sweet Gino his life. We paid you an enormous amount of money for him to never recover and the last few months of his life he was put through living hell. You need to do some soul searching when it comes to client patients relationships. If you need a break from vetting take one and clear you head and find your heart.

  Dr. Streeter and the staff are amazing. I took my 6 year old pit-bull in for an evaluation of a torn ACL the staff and Dr. Streeter where amazing with him and we decided to proceed with the surgery. we are now officially 1 week post-op and he is doing fantastic and already putting the leg down and putting a little weight on that leg. I have 3 other dogs and if any of them ever need any type of surgery I will go straight back to Dr. Streeter. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
