- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I got a staph infection after a surgery Dr. Mccollom did. It took 3 calls to his office to finally get a call back. Got an appointment only to tell me to give it time to heal. Thank goodness for my primary doctor for prescribing an antibiotic. When that didn't work did a culture to find out what we were dealing with. Ended up taking a very strong antibiotic twice a day for 3 weeks. If I had listened to Dr. Mccollom I would have either ended up in the hospital or dead. Not a good doctor.
